Course Description:

  1. Exams and Quizzes:


Midterm quiz (2): 10 problems to be solved as a take home quiz .
Final: The final exam/report will be prepared in a form of PowerPoint presentation based on material from your research project. This report need to be prepared by mid-April
Homework(weekly) Assignments and literature searches will be assigned and collected, mostly for time-consuming experiments or techniques we cannot study experimentally at Buffalo State.

Grading

The lecture part of the grade will be computed based on 5% for the each mid-term quiz,  5 % for each homework, and 50% for the final project plus 5-10% for the presentation of that project.

Grading scale    A:85%  B: 75% C:65% D: 55%
