Course syllabus

Course Description:

  1. Exams and Quizzes:


Midterm quiz: 10 problems to be solved as a take home quiz .
Final: The final exam/report will be prepared in a form of PowerPoint presentation or report based on material from your project. This report need to be prepared by mid-October
Homework(2) Literature searches will be assigned and collected, mostly for time-consuming experiments or techniques we cannot study experimentally at Buffalo State.
Exercises and Problems are assigned weekly on Wednesday and are due next week Monday.

  1. Grading

The lecture part of the grade will be computed based on 10% for the mid-term quiz,  5 % for each homework, and 50% for the final project plus bonus 5-10% for the presentation/activity of that project.

Grading scale    A:85%  B: 75% C:65% D: 55%
