Teaching
I am teaching various analytical classes: Analytical Chemistry (CHE301), Instrumental Analytical Chemistry (CHE403), Inorganic Chemistry (CHE360), Analytical Toxicology (CHE406), Infrared Spectroscopy(CHE626), and Drugs Chemistry and Toxicology (CHE618) . I also take my turn at teaching general chemistry courses ( CHE111 and CHE112) and Advanced Analytical Chemistry CHE580 .

Areas of Scientific Interest:
Environmental and analytical applications of ion and molecular recognition
Metal ion complexes with macrocyclic ligands, their structure and properties
Molecular structure of organic compounds of pharmaceutical and forensic interest
Analytical instrumentation for chemical education, data analysis, and chemical tutorial systems based on fuzzy logic
